Neelam is a valley situated towards the North-West of Pakistan in the province of Kashmir. Sharda, one of the prominent towns in the Keran District of Neelam Valley has few schools/colleges in the valley. These schools were in appalling and non-useable condition until they were highlighted by Sika Pakistan.
Sika Pakistan refurbished the roof of one Government boys Middle school at Azad Kashmir, Sharda to accommodate students during extreme weather conditions. School had a shabby infrastructure with no proper building for students. The Building was deteriorated because of the severe cold weather and the ceilings bore massive leakages because of rain & snow.
